Work on cohesion by implementing 5Ts to bring about transformational changes: Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said on Monday that all government machinery must work on cohesion by implementing 5T to bring about transformational changes in the country.
CM said this while holding a brainstorming meeting with top state government officials, including the Secretary General, DGP and ACS, Secretary General and Secretaries of all departments, municipalities and collectors.
“We can not be satisfied with the incremental changes,” CM said.
Referring to the three transformation changes in Odisha that have put the country on the global benchmark, the chief minister said that our efforts in disaster management, the provision of land rights to slum dwellers and the successful reduction of Naxala’s influence in the country have been recognized throughout the country. .
In order to further enhance the responsibility for the provision of citizen-oriented services, the Government decided that the annual reports on the assessment of the work of municipalities and Indian forest service officers at the level of the supplementary PCCF and above be submitted to the Chief Minister as the competent body, informed the CM .
“Furthermore, in the evaluation of the work of officials, the implementation of the 5T components will be approved by twenty percent of the weight,” he added.
The CM further stated that in order to simplify the functioning of the directors and accelerate the decision-making process, the departments within the department will function as a complex entity. The OSWAS system will also be modified to integrate department departments, he added.
The Chief Minister also discussed new initiatives for 5T that will take over Work, Housing and Urban Development, Energy, Higher Education, SSEPD, Health and Family Care, and the Department of Revenue and DM.
