US billionaire killed in helicopter collapse in Bahamas

WASHINGTON: Seven people have been reported dead in the fall of the helicopter in the Bahamas, including the US billionaire Chris Cline.
The helicopter descended near a small outbreak in the north of the country early Thursday morning, Nassau Guardian writes, according to the minister of tourism and aviation.
“We found a vessel. It seems that seven passengers are still on board and are therefore sunk, but we can not confirm anything,” said Dionisio D’Aguilar.
“I suppose he crashed shortly after taking off,” he said, adding that authorities are trying to “get to the helicopter and catch up with any soul … and start an investigation.”
The pilot did not seek permission before leaving, D’Aguilar said.
New West Virginia News, The Register-Herald, reported friends Chris Cline that a helicopter traveled from Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale, Florida when it collapsed.
“Today we lost the WV superstar and I lost a very close friend,” wrote West Virginia Governor Jim Justice on Twitter, confirming the death of Chris Cline.
