Two servants suspended for violating the rules during the Snana Purnima rituals

Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration has today suspended two servants for breaking the rules during the Snana Purnima rituals by escorting Puri MLA to Snana Mandap for Darshan of Deities.
The servants Somnath Khuntia and Rajaram Khuntia were reportedly suspended and excluded from the performance of Seva in Srimandir.
It can be mentioned here that entering the Snana Mandap during the Snana Purnima rituals is strictly prohibited.
However, when reviewing CCTV footage, the temple administration found that at around 11:00 am on June 17, during the Snana Purnima ritual, the accused servants made way for Puri MLA Jayanta Kumar Sarangi.
Previously, SJTA had briefed some officials on the cause of the issue and asked the Puri MLA to justify its actions.
