New Delhi: There is no proposal for consideration by the Government of the Union for the special status of Odishi category, said State Minister of Finance Anurag Singh Thakur.
Biju Janata Dal (BJD), MP Ramesh Chandra Majhi, asked the Minister whether the government had a proposal to declare Odisha a separate category country and allow a distribution model for a centrally sponsored scheme of 90:10 in accordance with the Northeast and the Himalayan States.
