The Maoists are snatching a TRS leader from their home in Telangana

Hyderabad: Almost 10 to 15 suspected Maoists took Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader from his house in the Bhadradri-Kothagudem Telangane district.
Police officials said N Srinivas Rao, 45, a local leader of the TRS, was abducted and “taken away” from Kothur village on Monday at midnight.
Durga, Rao’s wife, said that Nakshals, who held guns and rods, pulled Rao out of his house. She said that all her submissions were futile and that the Naksala did not pay attention to her. Her son’s submissions are also in vain, she says.
She said they beat her husband before they took him. Her son and she were beaten by armed men, she added.
Durga said: “When we tried to stop them, they also pointed the gun at me. We were not allowed to leave our house. “
The police said nearly 200 villagers and members of the Rao family went to Chhattisgarh to find a TRS leader. In the meantime, Rao’s wife has called hijackers to free her husband.
