The fourth Saturday is a holiday for the employees of the government of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In a landmark announcement, the Odisha government today declared the fourth Saturday of each month a general holiday for all state government employees.
The first half of every fourth Saturday, which was otherwise declared a public holiday, is used by the heads of offices at all levels of the state government for advice on the implementation of five Ts as well as for training and brainstorming sessions on innovative topics ideas for the progress and development of the state to read a message from the General Administration. According to the communication, the daily working hours in the government offices should be from 10.00 o’clock to 17.30 o’clock with a half hour lunchtime from 13.30 o’clock. The revised times do not apply to the holiday departments, it was said in the message.
