The Center must initiate a dialogue with Hurriyat: Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar: The head of the People’s Democratic Party and former head of the Mehbooba mufti ministry said on Sunday that the Center must launch a dialogue with Hurriyat.
Mufti said: “If Huriat is ready to talk today, then the central government should use this opportunity and must start a dialogue with Hurriyet.”
Governor Jammu and Kashmir Satya Pal Malik said: “The Hurriyat leaders who once closed the door to Ram Vilas Paswan when they addressed them for talks are now ready for dialogue.”
Mufti announced that “Dair ay durust aye (better late than never). The main goal of the PDP-BJP Alliance was to facilitate dialogue between the Government of India and all stakeholders. I tried to make it happen in my mandate as CM, but I was relieved that Huriat finally softened their attitude (sic). “
The center clashed around the separatist organizations in Jammu and Kashmir after the attack by Pulwam in which 40 members of the CRPF were killed on February 14.
