The budget was presented with a ten-year vision: Minister of Finance

New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the budget has been presented in the form of a ten-year vision and that there are several measures to achieve it.
Speaking at a press conference shortly after presenting his budget, Sitharaman said the focus was on the overall development of the economy.
The Minister of Finance said: “We looked at rural initiatives, which will give some dynamism to rural areas. We also looked at how urban life is better. “
By justifying the measure announced in the budget for the shadow banking sector, the finance minister said that NBFC is a critical component of our banking system. The government has adopted a comprehensive approach to financing the NBFC.
