Sirene turns away loot in the bank on the Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: A group of raiders ran away after a siren rang at Gramya Bank in Dhenkanal during the robbery bid.
According to sources, the incident occurred last night when a group of robbers broke into the bank, shattering the asbestos roof.
The siren installed in the vault of the bank howled as the robbers tried to get in with iron wire and cutters. This caused panic among the raiders, forcing them to retreat hastily.
Since the bank is only 100 meters away from the police station of the city of Dhenkanal, the siren also alerted the police. Although the police rushed to the spot immediately, the villains had managed to flee from there until then.
Subsequently, the police immediately informed the bank director about the incident.
Later in the morning, the municipal police Dhenkanal IIC Abhinav Dalua, together with a forensic team and a beagle, reached the bank to investigate.
Branch Manager Prafulla Behera said nothing was stolen from the bank.
