Ruckus on the state of law and order ends Assembly

Bhubaneswar: Pandemonium broke out in today’s assembly in Odisha with opposition targets targeting the government over the alleged worsening of the law and order situation in the country.
The opposition created a noise about the triple murder at Patnaikia Square near Sakhigopal in Puri district, firing at businessmen in Kendrapari and rising incidents of murder and rape in the country. In the midst of heavy noise, the morning session at Home is interrupted.
After the session began at 10.30, Opposition leader Pradipta Kumar Nayak tried to raise the issue of law and order. However, President Surya Narayan Patra has started an hour of questions without giving Nayaka an opportunity to talk about this issue.
Later, after the protests of the BJP MLA, the president allowed Nayaka to talk about the issue. After asking the question, Nayak asked for a response from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Nayak said that the state of law and order in the whole country worsened. “Criminals commit crimes without fear as long as there is no police action. The police work as a political doll, “he said.
While the speaker again started a question-and-answer session, the BJP MLA created a noise in the middle of the house. The main opposition whip Mohan Charan Majhi and MLA Shankar Oram, Sanatan Bijuli, Mukesh Mahaling, inter alia, sought a response from the chief minister on the issue.
BJP MLAs demanded the cancellation of a question and answer session and asked for a discussion on the issue of law and order. While there was a noise in the House, the President first interrupted the proceedings for 10 minutes, and later until 11:30.
