Rahul Gandhi visited Amethi after defeating the police

Amethi: Rahul Gandhi, leader of the Congress, visited Amethi on Wednesday after losing the position of the Minister of the Union Smriti Irani in the general elections.
Gandhi visited the house of the Tallyi Party Assembly Mata Prasad Vaish from Gaurign, whose cousin died on June 25th and expressed condolences to his grieving family.
It is expected that Gandhi will meet with party representatives, including the presidents of the stands of the five assemblies in Salon, Amethy, Gaurignag, Jagdishpur and Tiloi.
District spokesman Anil Singh said Gandhi would probably visit some villages. After Gandhi’s defeat, his representative Chandrakant Dubey and district president Yogendra Mishra also resigned.
Gandhi represented the city of Amethi Lok Sabha since 1999, but lost it to the 2018 BJP in general elections. He is currently a member of parliament from the Wayanad constituency in Kerala.
