President’s article extended by another 6 months in J & K

New Delhi: Amit Shah, Home Minister of the Union, made a decision on Lok Sabha on Friday to extend the presidential term in Jammu and Kashmir for six months.
Shah said it was important that the term of office of the President be extended for another six months with effect from 3 July 2019.
The Minister of the Interior announced that parliamentary elections will be held at the earliest in the country. It was done in the most peaceful way, he added.
The Union Home Minister said the fight against terrorism and the development of Jammu and Kashmir are top priorities for the Modi government. He said there was a time when there was no sign of India in Kashmir.
Shah said, whether it’s Panchayat or Lok Sabha polls, no drop of blood will be spilled in Jammu and Kashmir as we’re in full control of the situation.
We want to take the Kashmiris the fear, explained the Minister of the Interior.
