Precipitation on Odisha continues for another week: IMD

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Center of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday reported that rainfall across the state, caused by the monsoon, would last for another week.
According to the latest reports, the western Odisha district will experience humid conditions that will follow Norwester this afternoon, while coastal areas, along with northern and southern Odish, are likely to experience heavy rain today.
A well-marked low pressure area above the Northeastern Bengal Bay has caused heavy to very heavy rains in several parts of the Odessa region, weather forecasters said.
