PM warns deputies of the BJP to skip parliamentary duty

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked party leaders to prepare a list of ministers who skipped their parliamentary duties.
Media reports say that Modi on Tuesday withdrew his ministers for skipping parliamentary duties and that he wanted a list of absentees by the evening.
Modi expressed his dissatisfaction earlier this month because some MPs of the BJP skipped the sessions and debates in Parliament.
At today’s parliamentary meeting, Modi further discussed the issue of water crisis and called on legislators to meet with officials in their constituencies and address water shortage issues. He also asked legislators to do the necessary disease checking, such as tuberculosis and wrinkles.
“The world kept the target by 2030 to eradicate TB. However, the prime minister kept the target of 2025 for India without tuberculosis, “Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said.
