PM Modi launched Kisan Pension Scheme from Ranchi

New Delhi: In another major effort to secure the lives of farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Dhan Yojana in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
This scheme will secure the lives of 5 crore small and marginal farmers by providing a minimum pension of Rs 3000 per month to those who attain 60 years of age.
The Prime Minister also launched the National Pension Scheme for businessmen and self-employment.
The scheme provides small traders with a minimum of Rs. Aims to provide a minimum pension of 3000 and self-employed after attaining the age of 60 years.
About 3 crore small traders will benefit from the scheme.
The PM said that the election promise of a strong government that will fulfill your aspirations.
“I said that every farmer family of the country will get the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi after formation of new government. Today, more than 21 thousand crore rupees have been deposited in the accounts of about six and a half crore farmer families of the country. There are also 8 lakh farmer families of Jharkhand, whose accounts have accumulated nearly two and a half crores. “
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated “Development is our priority as well as commitment. Our government is trying to provide a shield of social security to every Indian. “
“The government is becoming the partner of those who need it most. Since March this year, a uniform pension scheme has been in operation for crores of unorganized sector workers in the country. “
“More than 32 lakh laborers have also participated in the Shramayogi Manavdhan Yojana. More than 22 crore people have participated in Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, out of which more than 30 lakh beneficiaries are from Jharkhand only. About 44 lakh poor patients have also been benefited under Ayushman Bharat scheme, out of which around 3 lakh are from Jharkhand. “
In an effort to empower everyone, the Prime Minister today launched 462 Eklavya Model Schools across the country in tribal dominated areas. The schools will focus on providing upper primary, secondary and senior secondary level education to ST students in these areas.
“These Eklavya schools will not only serve as a medium of education for tribal children, but will also facilitate sports and skill development along with preserving local arts and culture. In these schools, the government will spend more than one lakh rupees per year on every tribal child
Modi also inaugurated the multi-modal transport terminal at Sahibganj.
“Today I am also fortunate to inaugurate the Sahibganj multi-modal terminal. This is not just another project, but is offering a new alternative to transportation across the region. This waterway will connect Jharkhand not only with the entire country, but also with foreign countries. From this terminal, tribal brothers and sisters, farmers here, can now easily get their produce in markets across the country.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated the new assembly building of Jharkhand.
“Today, nearly two decades after the formation of the state, the temple of democracy is being inaugurated in Jharkhand. This building is the holy place where the foundation of the golden future of the people of Jharkhand will be laid and the dreams of present and future generations will be realized ”. The PM also laid the foundation stone of the new building of the Secretariat.
The Prime Minister inspired the country to reduce the use of single-use plastics.
Referring to the Swachh Hai Seva program launched on 11 September 2019, the Prime Minister said, “Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan has started in the country since yesterday. Under this campaign, by 2 October, we have to collect single-use plastics in our homes, schools, offices. On October 2, the 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji, we have to remove that plastic pile ”.
