Omar Abdullah asks the Center to clarify the latest situation

Srinagar: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has asked the Center to convince the people of Kashmir that there is no need to fear.
He said current events in the state created panic among the residents of the state. The leader of the National Conference stressed that despite the overwhelming fear that is ruling the state, the people are kept in the dark by the central government of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Omar Abdullah had earlier met with Governor Satya Pal Malik along with a delegation of political leaders on the matter.
While speaking at a press conference after the meeting, the leader revealed that the delegation had told the Governor about the ongoing rumors in Kashmir about Article 370, Article 35A, demarcation and even trifurcation of the state.
Omar Abdullah said the governor assured them that he was not planning on the Center in the near future.
He said the word of the governor was not final and that the final word was coming from the Government of India. There is more than what the governor tells us publicly, Omar Abdullah said.

Sharing is caring!
