Odisha Congress will soon witness a major reconstruction

New Delhi: After the debacle in the poll, the Odisha Congress is ready for a major reconstruction from the local level to the state level, party sources said on Wednesday.
According to reports, Odisha Pradesh Presidential Committee (OPCC) leader Niranjan Patnaik met with the main party from Odise Jitendra Singh and talked about restructuring in the state unit.
Both leaders, who met after a catastrophic strike in the recently completed Lok Sabha poll and the Assembly, also discussed the forthcoming elections in the Patkuro and Bijepur assembly.
Namely, Congress won only one of the 21 Lok Sabha and 9 out of 146 Assembly sessions.
Niranjan Patnaik has already offered his resignation as OPCC president. However, his leadership did not accept his resignation.
