No DJs in Durga Puja this year: Twin City Police Commissioner

Bhubaneswar: Twin City Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi on Tuesday assigned a set of criteria to the Durga Puja organizer during the festival this year with emphasis on a complete ban on DJs.
This decision was taken at a meeting held at the Police Commissionerate building here yesterday.
At the meeting, Sarangi discussed safety and security measures and other preparations for worship with senior police officers and worship committees in the city.
Three members of each puja committee will be trained on security measures.
For better security arrangements, CCTV cameras will be installed in major puja pandals, Police Commissioner Sarangi said.
In particular, Durga Puja will begin on 5 October, while on 6 October is Mahashtami and on 8 October, Dussehra will be immersed on 9 October.
