Naveen’s support was sought to establish a Foreign Trade Institute in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi has asked Chief Minister Navane Patnaik to provide infrastructure support for the establishment of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in the capital.
The MP recently met Union Minister Piyush Goyal to open an academy focusing on Foreign Trade, Export, Import and Trade issues in Bhubaneswar.
“The presence of the Indian Foreign Trade Institute (IIFT) in Bhubaneswar is obliged to submit export initiatives from the state and will also open additional employment opportunities for young students from Odisha,” a deputy wrote in a letter addressed to Odisha CM.
“There are many state governments that have offered the country no cost and grants for infrastructure to ensure the establishment of a leading academic institute such as the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in their countries,” she said.
“I would ask you to kindly issue appropriate instructions for identifying about five acres of land in Bhubaneswar and infrastructure support of 5 kunas for accelerating the whole process,” she added.
