Naveen orders free treatment Padma Shri awardee D Prakash Rao

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Odish Naveen Patnaik ordered a free treatment of a social activist and Padme Shri Prize D Prakash Rao on Wednesday, which was hospitalized yesterday.
Rao was admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Tuesday at the Medical School and the SCB hospital after he got sick. CM directed Cuttack Collector to the treatment plant treatment.
Rao, the chief donor of the blood donor federation, went to attend a program in Angoulou where he got sick. He was transferred to SCB Medical in critical condition and transferred to ICU.
Rao, a tea retailer, received the Padma Shri Award, the fourth highest civilian award, from President Ram Nathas Kovinda for his contribution to increasing the value of education among poor children.
He is also a regular blood donor who saved 192 lives by giving blood.
