Naveen is directed to finish construction of railroads from Haridaspur to Kendrapara to September

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today urged officials to complete the construction of the railway from Haridaspur to Kendrapara by September this year.
A high-level meeting to review progress in the construction of the Haridaspur-Paradip Railway was under the chairmanship of Odisha CM in the State Secretariat here.
CM expressed satisfaction with the progress of construction work on the 47 kilometer long line from Haridaspur to Kendrapara. Recently, for the first time, a railroad tower has been launched on the Haridaspur-Paradip Railway.
During the meeting, Patnaik ordered the management of Kendrapar to continue building the railroad in all places without interruption.
In addition, the CM has also instructed the Department of Energy and OPTCL to complete the work of the Kendrapara Electric Substation by September. Patnaik said he would help train electric trains on newly built railroads on the first day.
Moreover, Odisha CM also asked local MPs and MLAs to support the completion of the railroad project. Patnaik continued to complete all necessary primary work to guide passenger trains on the route.
The Chief Minister said: “The completion of the railway line would fulfill the long-term desire of the inhabitants of Kendrapara. And that would mark the first railway communication to the Kendrapara district. “
Minister of Trade and Transport Padmanav Behera, MP Kendrapara Anubav Mohanty, Mahalpada MLA Atan Sabyasachi Nayak, Kendrapara MLA Sashi Bhusan Behera and Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi and other senior officers were present at the meeting.
