Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today assured the staff of the Hari Baladeviev Temple in Baripada to solve the various problems the temple faces.
A group of servants met the Odisha CM in the State Secretariat today and informed him about various problems of the temple, known as the second Shrikshetra.
Patnaik expressed concern about the matter and assured the staff of the necessary measures in this regard. The Prime Minister also said that he would visit Baripada very soon.
Minister of Justice Pratap Jena and Finance Minister Sudam Marndi also took part in the meeting.
In particular, the temple of Lord Jagannath in Baripada is commonly known as Hari Baladevjew Temple. It was built by Shri Baidyanath Bhanj in 1575 according to the same architectural principles of Kakharua Baidyanath Temple. The temple symbolizes the religious favor of the Bhanja rulers of Mayurbhanj and is considered the queen monad of the princely states in the days before the merger.
