Miscreants loot Rs 40 lakh from SBI branch in Balasor

Balasore: Unidentified criminals plundered 40 liters of rupees from the branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) Srirampur under the Sadar block in the Balasore district.
According to sources, a group of six to seven armed criminals dressed in college uniforms fell into the bank in business on Thursday. The desperatrists were held by the public and employees in the banks with armed weapons and expelled with 40 rupees. They locked bank staff and other faces inside before they escaped.
After being informed of the incident, the police arrived at that place and launched an investigation. The police also found five live bombs from the site.
Police have collected CCTV footage for further investigation.
