Migrant workers rescued in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: Even 12 migrant workers, including seven women, were rescued by police in the city of Nabarangpur on Wednesday night.
The rescued workers allegedly belonged to the Umerkot area in the Tentulikhunta and Kalahandi district.
Based on the remark, the police intercepted a bus on the road to Vishakhapatnam from Umerkote and saved workers along with three minors.
The workers were trafficked to Tripura and Chennai.
Officials also arrested two mediators for alleged involvement in illegal activities. The investigation is also launched in the matter, sources say.
