Lockdown Violation: 58 Cases Registered In Last 24-hr

Bhubaneswar: Despite strict restriction, citizens of the state were seen violating the lockdown rules. At least 58 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours.
These cases have been registered under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code which refers to ‘disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant’.
This data has been released by the Odisha DGP Abhay.
Out of 58 cases, 55 cases were registered for violation of COVID-19 lockdown, one case for violation of Home Quarantine and two cases for other related issues from the morning of April 21 to the morning of April 22.
