Jharsuguda police nabs three robbers

Jharsuguda: In a large-scale account, Jharsugude police arrested three people on Friday for their alleged involvement in a number of robberies in various places of the Western Odyssey.
The arrested persons were identified as A. Kalia Das (52), D. Srinivas Eragola (19) and A. Srinu (30), all residents of the Aska border police in Ganjam district.
According to police data, during the inspection of the motor vehicle (MV), three people were intercepted, and another member of the gang fled from the scene.
Three motorcycles, six mobile phones, 90,000 Rs and tools for breaking the lock were seized from them.
The band actively worked in the Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur districts and raised several bikes, looting the cash from the last two months.
Two cases were registered against three indictees, and a further investigation is ongoing, the police said.
