Impact of FATF Warning: Pak Army Chief says the eradication of terrorism continues

Islamabad: The Pakistani army has announced that it will take all necessary steps and use all possible resources to eradicate terrorism.
This response is due to the strong warning of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to Pakistan to implement an Action Plan to curb terrorist financing.
The head of the Pakistani army, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who visited Britain, said his country is doing its best to eradicate terrorism.
General Bajwa said Friday in front of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London that Islamabad is on the path to sustainable peace and stability
Bajwa said, “We are proposing to all countries, especially our neighbors, who are signing up and working together to eradicate terrorism as a common enemy. We have suffered a lot in the past and do not want to suffer in the future “.
The FATF has already warned Islamabad that it will take the necessary measures if it fails to comply with an “Action Plan” to combat terrorist financing by October.
