Government to start functioning at 5T from 2 October: CM Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has said that his government will start working effectively on 5T from Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October.
After hoisting the national flag on Independence Day here on Thursday, Patnaik said that the first phase of governance will be started on the principle of 5T from the 150th year of Mahatma Gandhi’s anniversary.
The Chief Minister of Odisha said that the first phase at 5T would cover the police stations and hospitals in the state and said that it would be gradually introduced in all departments by March 5,2020.
Patnaik said that he would personally look into the matter and if you would have to contact the telephone about the response from the authorities after 5Ts. He said that the ministers of the concerned departments will call you on telephone about the response received from police stations and hospitals.
Patnaik assured the people that if any opportunity is denied then an electricity connection will be provided within 48 hours.
Earlier, the Chief Minister paid tribute to the martyrs, who laid down their lives for the nation. He honored Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Netaji Subas Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das, Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das and many politicians and prominent personalities of the country.
