Four new planets to be installed in Odisha soon: Minister

Bhubaneswar: Minister of Science and Technology Ashok Chandra Panda today informed the Assembly that four new planets will soon arrive in the state.
Four new planetariums will be set up in Baripda, Rayagadi, Keonjhar and Gopalpur with a total cost of 30 rune krone.
Panda said the state government would spend Rs 9 crore for the Gopalpur Planetarium, while Rs 7 crore each would be allocated for the planetariums in Rayagada, Keonjhar and Baripada.
In order to popularize science and technology among people, science parks will be set up in each district and 10 such parks will become functional in the first phase.
Baripada, Rayagada and Gopalpur have earlier been locked in for projects, the government plans to build another in Keonjhar.
Currently, the state has two planets in the city of Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur.
