Firebox in Samaleswari Express: Hirakhand Express diverted, 3 trains partially painted

Bhubaneswar: The railways diverted the Hirakhand Express on Tuesday and partially canceled three trains following the fire accident in the Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express.
The engine of the Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express from 18005 burned after hitting a tower car near Rayagada today. Two railroaders were burned to death by the accident.
In view of the accident, the railway has rerouted the Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express.
“Jagdalpur’s Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express 18448 will operate on June 25 on a diverted route via Koraput-Kottavalasa-Vizianagaram, bypassing the Koraput-Rayagada-Vizianagaram section,” a statement said.
In addition, three trains were partially canceled after the accident.
Partially painted trains
18108 The Jagadalpur-Rourkela Express from Jagadalpur today runs to Laxmipur Road and will operate as a passenger special from Laxmipur to Jagadalpur.
58301/58302 Sambalpur-Koraput-Sambalpur Passengers from Sambalpur on the 25th and Koraput on the 26th of June 2019 operate between Sambalpur and Rayagada and are canceled from both directions between Rayagada and Koraput.
18005/18006 The Howrah-Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleshwari Express from Howrah on the 24th and Jagadalpur on the 26th of June 2019 runs between Rayagada and Howrah and is canceled between Rayagada and Jagadalpur from both directions.
