Dharmendra Pradhan calls Piyush Goyal to drive 2 wagons between Bhubaneswar and Kalahanda

Bhubaneswar: The Federation of Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan urged Piyush Goyal on Friday to introduce two independent trains between Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar and Bhubaneswar-Junagarh-Bhubaneswar.
In a letter to the Railway Minister, Pradhan sought the personal intervention of this latter in the long-standing demands of the inhabitants of Bhawanipatna and Junagarh in the Kalahandi district of Odisha.
“Currently, the trains start from Bhubaneswar as one combined train with 10 trainers heading for Junagarh and 12 trainers dedicated to Jagdalpur by separating at Rayagadi. On return, two separate trains connect to Rayagada and run towards Bhubaneswar as a train, “Pradhan pointed out in his letter.
He said that the current system creates many difficulties for passengers, especially from Kalahandhi. Sometimes travelers are not able to board the appropriate trainers due to complications.
The Union Minister argued that, if this proposal is accepted, the train will drive in full force because of the high demand for linking Bhubaneshar and Kalahandi. “Moreover, the trainers will be increasingly accommodating in the reserved section,” he said.
“I’m furiously looking for your intervention in this regard,” Pradhan added.
