COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha stands at 94: Subroto Bagchi

Bhubaneswar: Total of 20599 samples tested till midnight of April 24 and the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha stands at 94 till today 2 pm, informed Odisha’s Chief Spokesperson on COVID-19, Subroto Bagchi, on Saturday.
Out of the total positive cases, 33 have already recovered and one has succumbed to the disease. With this the number of COVID-19 active cases in Odisha is 60 while 150 persons are in hospital isolation, said Bagchi, while addressing a scheduled presser at Geeta Govinda Sadan here this evening.
Further, Bagchi informed about the COVID-19 cases in India He said, 5,79,957 samples have been tested till today morning and the number of positive cases stands at 24,506.
Out of the total positive cases in India, 5062 have recovered, 775 have succumbed to the disease and one has migrated. With this the number of active cases in the country is 18,668, he said.
The Spokesperson concluded informing the next scheduled press meet to be held on Monday at 4.30 pm, after a day’s break on Sunday.
