COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha stands at 61: Subroto Bagchi

Bhubaneswar: Till now 8619 samples have been tested and the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha stands at 61, while 24 persons have recovered and discharged from the hospital, informed Odisha’s Chief Spokesperson on Coronavirus, Subroto Bagchi.
Addressing a scheduled presser at Geeta Govinda Sadan here, Bagchi said that the COVID-19 casualty stands at one and the number of active cases is 36 along with 103 persons in hospital isolation.
As per reports released on the State Health Department’s Twitter handle, three more positive cases of COVID-19, all from Bhubaneswar, have recovered and are being discharged. With this, the total recoveries of the State stand at 24.
Besides, the State I&PR Dept has also shared the details of patient no. 61 on its Twitter handle. Reported, the case no. 61 is a 58-year-old male from Balasore. This is the first case on Coronavirus reported in the district.
