Coal-laden Goods train caught fire at Rayagada railway station

Rayagada: On Thursday, four bogies of a coal-laden freight train caught fire at Rayagada station.
The matter came to light when the railway employees saw smoke coming out of the bogies and reported to the fire department.
According to sources, the goods train was en-route to Raipur from Visakhapatnam when the mishap occurred.
The train was stopped and fire tenders were pressed into the service to douse the flames. However, the exact cause behind the mishap is yet to be ascertained.
