CMRF Odisha receives 3.9 crore donations for relief, restoration

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Chief Minister’s Aid Fund (CMRF) on Tuesday received a sum of Rs 3.9 crore for relief and reconstruction following severe cyclone storms by Fani.
New Indian Assurance Corporation Limited brought CMRF in the amount of three crowns. All Union of Bank of India Union officers handed over Rs 3,60,000 for check to CM Naveen Patnaik.
Indian gas distributors from India also donated Rs 2,55,552, Biju Patnaik International Airport donated Rs 2,37,186 and the Ghana Indian Association handed over Rs 56,500 for a check to CM Patnaik.
CM Naveen Patnaik thanked all the donors to CMRF for joining the cause of the Odyssey rebuild after CycloneFani. He urged everyone to join hands to restore the lives of the cyclone-stricken.
