Baripada will today host Rath Yatru

Mayurbanj: Baripada, which follows the second most popular Rath Yatru Odyshe after Puri, is now decorated for the Rath Yatra celebration.
The withdrawal of the carriages will take place in two days. Yesterday was held the ceremonial Pahandi Bei of the three deities after the arrival of ‘Agyan Mala’ from the temple of Ambika, and later the rituals of ‘Ratha Pratista’ were completed.
On the first day, the Pahanda of the Trinity was done, on the second day, Taladhwa of Lord Balabhadra will be followed by the Devidalan of Devi Subhadra.
Devidalana withdrawal stops in the evening and continues the next day. On July 6, both Devidalan and Nandighus Lord Jagannatha will be drawn into the Gundich Temple by the devotee.
