A military action against Iran is still possible: US President

Washington: Washington is reportedly still considering military action against Tehran for shooting down its unmanned military drone aircraft.
US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that the use of force “is always on the table until we resolve it”.
The US had planned a military strike against Iran. But Trump broke off the attack when he learned that the planned death toll from the planned strike in Iran would be 150.
Iran announced on Saturday that it would resolutely retaliate against any threat from Washington. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said: “We do not seek war, but will diligently defend our heaven, our land and our waters.”
The US reportedly identified three locations for the S-125 Neva / Pechora Iranian ground-to-air missile system, which it considered was used to target the USD 110 million RQ-4 Global Hawk drone.
The Iranian officials claimed that the country had used its air defense system “3rd Khordad” to destroy the surveillance drone.
Tensions between the two countries escalated following attacks on merchant ships in the Gulf of Oman, for which the US blamed Iran. The international community, however, remains divided over Tehran’s participation in the attacks.
