3 new Cyber Crime PS to be set up in state: Odisha DG

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to fast-track investigations into a torrent of crimes in the virtual world, Odisha police has decided to come up with three more new Cyber Crime police stations across the state.
This was informed by Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) R P Sharma on Monday.
Three new Cyber Crime police stations will be set up in Bhubaneswar, Balasore, and Jeypore due to an alarming rise in cyber crimes in the state, Odisha DG said.
Keeping in view, more number of investigation officers will also be appointed, the DG further informed.
