2016 Indira Vikash Patra missing case: Superintendent of Bolangir Head Post Office nabbed

Bolangir: The Superintendent of District Head Post Office has been arrested today for this alleged connection with missing of Indira Vikash Patra of two beneficiaries in 2016.
The accused official, identified as Debi Prasad Nayak, was arrested by Town Police after a Consumer Court issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against him in connection with the case.
According to sources, a warrant was issued by the High Court to produce the postal Superintendent in District consumer court. Earlier the district consumer court ordered for a settlement of one Indira Vikash Patra claim. However, the postal department disobeyed the order by district consumer court, State consumer forum and national consumer forum.
Following this, complainant Chaganlal Jain and Jambukumar Jain of Tusura filed a case.
Acting on the complaint and the directive of the High Court, cops apprehended the accused official and produced him in the Consumer Court, sources said.
