194 special trains for a smooth transport in Rath Yatra

Puri: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to drive 194 special trains to Puri to keep the many followers on track during Lord Jagannath’s annual Rath Yatra (car festival).
According to sources, there are 194 special trains to Puri, while 60 special ticket counters and four “May I Help You” counters will be open during the festival. The railways will provide the facilities. In addition, 538 RPF and 550 GRP will be used to increase safety during the festivities. To monitor the busy places around the clock, 73 surveillance cameras will be installed at Puri Station, while Bhubaneswar and Cuttack stations will have 38 and 32 surveillance cameras, respectively.
Arrangements are also made for trouble-free travel to install more automatic ticket vending machines at the stations.
