150 bunkers completed in J & K to provide shelter to people: officials

Jammu: The construction of 150 bunkers in Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir has been completed and another 350 is nearing completion, according to officials.
Officials said these bunkers were designed to provide security shelters for people living on Poonch’s PoC control line from cross-border firing and shelling by Pakistani forces.
Rahul Yadav District Development Commissioner, meanwhile, visited the zero-line area on Sunday and inspected the upcoming bunkers along the surveillance zone.
Officials during the tour said Yadav examined the community and individual bunkers and asked for the quality of the materials used. He allegedly ordered executive agencies to execute sanctioned bunkers on time.
